When we first started hosting live Custom Home Build Classes, the energy was incredible.
Homeowners came with notebooks, pens ready, heads buzzing with excitement — and by the end, their notebooks were packed... but so were their brains.
(And honestly, so were ours.)
It didn’t take long to realize something important:
Trying to absorb everything about building a custom home in just one class is like trying to drink from a firehose.
Even when we were preparing the materials, it was tough to organize —
because the truth is, building a home doesn’t happen in one perfectly linear flow.
Honestly?
I wish it did.
It would make building the systems for it so much easier on my part... but alas, here we are.
Since I build the systems for our teams on the ground — and I built the system for how we teach this information — I started seeing the gaps.
The big ones.
The spots where homeowners were getting overwhelmed, confused, and falling through.
There are just so many pieces to building a home:
Financing
Design
Selections
Permits
Timelines
...and that's before you even pour a foundation.
Heck, before you can even get a price to know if you're going to build the dang thing, there’s a whole process that has to happen first.
No matter how great the live class was, people left feeling like they needed a second pass — slower, in smaller pieces, when their brain wasn’t swimming in decisions.
We heard them.
And we built something better.
Because we realized how big and important this phase of the process really is.

Why We Created the Master Class
